Controlling Values and Display of Maxima and Minima on Contour Plots

You can control independently the maximum and minimum values of Simulation results in contour plots (automatic or defined status). You can pick a color that is different from the default color range to display results that fall outside the customized limits you define.

The Chart Options PropertyManager has new options that customize the maximum and minimum limits on result plots independently, and control the color contours of results.

Automatically defined maximum value Picks the maximum limit on the contour plot as calculated by the software.

Clear this option to set a customized maximum value for the contour plot.

Specify color for values above maximum value Applies the selected color (set in ) to regions of the model with result values above the maximum value set in Max .
For improved visibility of the contour plot, you can pick a color outside the default color range of the chart plot. If you do not specify a color for Specify color for values above maximum value, a grey color is applied by default.
Automatically defined minimum value Picks the minimum limit on the contour plot as calculated by the software.

Clear this option to set a customized minimum value for the contour plot.
Specify color for values below minimum value Applies the selected color (set in ) to regions of the model with result values below the minimum value set in Min .
