Sheets

Use the Sheets pane to manage drawing files and navigate to different drawing sheets.

Tools on the Sheets pane include:
Overview tool_Overview.gif Displays overview of selected sheet in a pop-up window.
Pointer tool_Pointer.gif A linked set of crosshairs appears in each of the drawing views.
Layouts tool_Create_Layout.gif Create a new drawing sheet with selected drawing views.

Activating Sheets

To activate a sheet, do one of the following:

  • Click Sheets , then click a sheet on the Sheets pane.
  • In the graphics area, right-click and click Sheets > sheet name.

Activating Drawing Views

To activate a drawing view:

Select the drawing view in the graphics area.

Zooming to Drawing Views

To zoom to a drawing view:

Double-click the drawing view in the graphics area or on the Sheets pane.
You can also double-click a drawing view in the Overview Window to display only the selected drawing view.

Hiding or Showing Drawing Views

To hide or show a drawing view:

In the graphics area, right-click the drawing view and click Hide or Show.

Selecting One Drawing View and Hiding All Others

To select one drawing view and hide all others:

In the graphics area, right-click the drawing view and click Hide Others.

Showing All Hidden Drawing Views

To show all hidden drawing views:

Right-click anywhere in the graphics area and click Show All.
