Clearing Local Cache in the Working Folder

Clearing the local cache removes all files that are not checked out from the working folder and are not referenced by a file that is checked out.

To clear the local cache, do one of the following:

  • Select any folder other than the vault root and click Tools > Clear Local Cache .
  • Right-click the vault root folder and click Clear Local Cache:
    • If SOLIDWORKS Toolbox is not managed in this vault, click Yes to confirm the removal of the local cache.
    • If SOLIDWORKS Toolbox is managed in this vault, in the Clear Local Cache dialog box, click OK.
      By default, Toolbox files are not cleared from the cache. To remove Toolbox files, clear Do not remove Toolbox files and click OK.
