Editing Spools

You can modify a spool by changing its name, color or line style of the segment or component. You can also add or remove spool segments and components, and change adjoining components.

To edit a spool:

  1. In the FeatureManager design tree, right click the Spool folder and select Edit Spool .
    The Spools PropertyManager displays.
  2. Enter a new name for the spool by overwriting the existing name.
  3. Change the display colors and line styles of the segments and components by clicking the color in the corresponding box.
  4. Add components to the spool by dragging and dropping them into the graphics area from either the Routing libraries or the Design Library.
  5. Click PM_OK.gif.

You can also edit spool settings, such as spool name and properties for adjoining components by clicking Options Options (Standard Toolbar) or Tools > Options . On the Systems Options tab, click Routing.

To delete the spool, right-click the Spools folder in the FeatureManager design tree and select Delete Spool.
