DimXpert Basic Location Dimension

Basic Dimensions

You can create basic dimensions manually.



To create basic dimensions:

  1. In a part, click Smart Dimension (Dimensions/Relations toolbar) or Tools > Dimensions > Smart.
  2. In the Dimension PropertyManager, under Dimension, click DimXpert basic location dimension .
  3. Select entities in the graphics area.
  4. Place the dimension.
  5. In the DimXpert PropertyManager, set options.
  6. Click .

Recreating Basic Dimensions

To use Recreate Basic Dimensions:

  1. Create a model with a geometric position tolerance.


  2. Right-click the Position tolerance in the DimXpertManager and select Recreate basic dim.
