Creating a Sun Study

You can animate the rise and fall of sunlight over a specific timeframe.

Sun Study is available only in SOLIDWORKS Visualize Professional.

To create a sun study:

  1. Click Output Tools > Sun Study .
  2. In the dialog box, on the Sun Study tab:
    1. Click Render Options and set options.
    2. Click Sun Study Options and set options.
    3. Click Send to Queue to add the current rendering to a queue so you can render it later, or click Save and Close to save the current position and composition for later reference.
    When finished, the rendering is saved in the Images library.
