Creating a Named BOM

You can save a computed BOM or a SOLIDWORKS BOM as a named BOM. You can also select an existing named BOM, edit it, and rename it to create a new named BOM.

  1. Select a computed BOM , a SOLIDWORKS BOM , or an existing named BOM (or ).
  2. Click the Save flyout and then select Save As.
  3. Under Save in, accept the default location or select a new folder.
  4. Type a name for the BOM and click Save.
