Decal Parameters

The Appearances tab in the Palette includes Decals parameters which appear when you select a decal in the Appearance tree.

Decal Name	Lets you rename the decal.
Multiple Part Decal	Specifies that the decal spans multiple parts in the model.
Detached	Removes the association of the decal from all parts and lets you move the decal by itself.
Decal Depth	Defines how deep beyond the surface the decal penetrates.
Show Decal Texture	Specifies whether the image represented on the decal is shown or overwritten in white to use as a stencil.
Use Brightness as Opacity	Makes any dark portions of the decal as transparent. The closer to black the pixels, the more transparent that area of the decal becomes.
Decal Width	Sets the width of the decal in meters.
Decal Height	Sets the height of the decal in meters.
Project from Current Ortho Camera	Projects the decal from the active camera, provided the active camera is an orthographic camera.
