Routing Component Wizard - Save Component To Library Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to save the component to the Routing library.

To display this dialog box, do one of the following:
  • Click Tools > Routing > Routing Tools > Routing Library Manager , and click Routing Component Wizard .
  • From the Windows Start menu, click All Programs > SOLIDWORKS version > SOLIDWORKS Tools > SOLIDWORKS version Routing Library Manager > Routing Component Wizard .
Component Name Lets you type a name for the component, or use the one provided.
Library folder location Specifies where the folder will be saved.
Library file (*.XML) Specifies where the component will be saved.
Create end connector illustration for harness Lets you specify the views for the connector when you select Use drawing connector blocks.

  • End View Creation PropertyManager

    In the End View Creation PropertyManager, you create end views of electrical connectors to use in harness and cable manufacturing drawings. You access this PropertyManager from the Save to Library page of the Routing Component Wizard .
