The Advanced Hole PropertyManager appears when you create a new advanced hole.
To open this PropertyManager:
Create a part, select a surface, and click Advanced Hole
(Features toolbar) or .
Two tabs appear:
- Type
(default). Sets the hole type parameters.
- Positions
. Locates the advanced holes on planar or nonplanar faces. Use dimensions, sketch tools, sketch snaps, and inference lines to position the hole centers.
To switch to the Positions
tab, you must first select at least one Near Side face. If you selected Far Side, you must also select at least one Far Side face. You can switch between these tabs.

Skips the instances that you select in the graphics area when you are creating the advanced holes. The pointer changes to when you hover over each instance. Click to select an instance. The coordinates of the instance appear using (X,Y) values. X represents the number of the near side face (in order of selection). Y represents the number of the instance on that face (in order of creation).
Face array (chamX,Y) numbers are not reset or reused. They are locked to the face ID.
To restore an instance, click the instance again. |
