There is no upper limit on the number of instances in a pattern. You can enter any number of instances.
When you create a pattern with a large number of instances, a dialog box prompts you to confirm or revise the number. Patterns with a large number of instances tend to impact performance.
This feature applies to all patterns in parts, features, and assemblies.
