You can place a horizontal, vertical, or linear dimension between two sketch points, sketch segment endpoints, or model vertices. You can also use the model origin as a point.
Select the two points, then move the pointer around to observe the dimension preview.
To create a dimension between two points:

Click Smart Dimension
(Dimensions/Relations toolbar) or .
- Click one point.
- Click the other point.
- Move the pointer to show the dimension preview.
- Set the value in the Modify box and click
.
- Click to place the desired dimension.
