Creating Notes Click Note (Annotation toolbar), or click Insert > Annotations > Note. Set options in the Note PropertyManager. To set the text of a note to display in uppercase, under Text Format, click All uppercase. If the note has a leader, click to place the attachment point for the leader. Click again to place the note, or click and drag a bounding box. Create a bounding box by doing one of the following: Click and drag a bounding box before typing text. Click to place the note, then drag the handles to size the box as necessary. Type the text. Press Enter to add a new line below the current one. Set options with the Formatting toolbar. Click in the graphics area outside the note to complete the note. With the Note PropertyManager still open, repeat the steps above to create as many notes as necessary. You can change text, properties, and formatting for each instance of the note. To add multiple leaders, press Ctrl while dragging the note and before placing it. The note stops moving and a second leader appears. While still holding Ctrl, click to place the leader. Click as many times as necessary to place additional leaders. Release Ctrl and click to place the note. To change the indenting or formatting of bulleted or numbered lists, right-click the note while in edit mode and select Paragraph Properties or click Paragraph Properties on the Formatting toolbar.
