Decals are surfaces with a texture that can include a transparency channel so it shows through anything underneath it. Decals are commonly used to put logos on top of other appearances, something a sticker would achieve in the real world, for example.
The texture that you load for a decal should use a transparency channel to define the areas in the decal that should be transparent.
To create decals:
- In the Palette, on the Appearance
tab, right-click in the Appearance tree and click New Decal.
- In the dialog box, browse to a decal texture and click Open.
