Simulation Toolbar - Result Tools

The Result Tools category provides tools related to viewing results of your study. The functions of all buttons in this category are listed in the table below.
Button Tool Tip Purpose
Factor of Safety Plots the factor of safety distribution on the model for the active static study.
Stress Plots stress contours/vectors on the model for the active static study.
Displacement Plots displacement contours/vectors on the model for the active study.
Strain Plots strain contours/vectors on the model for the active study.
Thermal Plots temperature, heat flux, and temperature gradient distribution on the model for the active thermal study.
Design Insight Plots design insight for the active study.
Report Generates a Microsoft Word report for the current analysis study.
Include Image for Report Captures an image of the model for the report.
Animate Animates the current result plot on the screen.
Section Clipping Dynamically moves the clipping surfaces for section plots.
Iso Clipping Dynamically moves the clipping surfaces for iso-surface plots.
Plot Settings Change the current post processing plot settings.
Probe Probe the current result plot by clicking on the desired location.
List Selected Lists the results by selecting the desired model entities.
Save As Saves the active plot on the screen to a permissible file format:
  • eDrawings
  • Bitmap
  • JPEG
  • PNG
  • VRML
Show/Hide Mesh Toggles the visibility of the mesh.
Show/Hide Result Toggles the visibility between the model geometry and the active results plot.
Compare Results Compare multiple results side by side.
Deformed Result Shows the model in its deformed state.
