Add attributes to the AutoCAD map list. Access this dialog box by clicking Add New in the AutoCAD Property Mappings.
To specify AutoCAD attribute mappings:
- Under Name of the AutoCAD Block that contains attributes, type a block name (the name of the block insertions in the SOLIDWORKS Workgroup PDM managed documents), or click Load from File and specify a file name.
- Under AutoCAD Attribute, type a name or select from the list on each row that you want to map. You are not required to map every property.
- Click OK to accept the mappings and return to Property Mappings.
Name of the AutoCAD Block that contains attributes
If you click Load from File and specify a file name:
- If a file contains blocks, the block names are listed.
- If a file contains attribute definitions, the drawing name is listed.
