Specifying Modify Parameters for Boss or Cut Lofts

The Modify: Boss Loft Parameters and Modify: Cut Loft Parameters dialog boxes let you specify Modify parameters for loft features. The following parameters are available:

Start constraint

  Start constraint Select a starting constraint type from the list.
Not all options in the Find utility are available in the Modify utility.
  Start tangent length Type a value for the start tangent length, or use the arrows to change the value.

End constraint

  End constraint Select an ending constraint type from the list.
Not all options in the Find utility are available in the Modify utility.
  End tangent length Type a value for the end tangent length, or use the arrows to change the value.

Options

Set the following options to find lofts with the specified settings:
  Merge tangent faces  
  Close loft
  Merge result  

Thin Feature

  Type Select a type of thin feature loft from the list.
  Direction Select the loft direction. This is available only if One-Direction is selected in the Type list.
  Wall thickness Type a value for the wall thickness of the loft, or use the arrows to change the value.
