When you click Sketch 
or a sketch tool (line, circle, and so on) on the Sketch toolbar before selecting a plane on which to sketch, the software prompts you to select a plane. In new sketches, the planes are displayed in Trimetric 
orientation.
Select a plane in the graphics area. In new sketches, the plane rotates into Normal to orientation and you can proceed with the sketch.
