Font Checks Duplication

You can duplicate the values of one font check to other font checks without re-entering values.

To duplicate font checks in a new standards file:

  1. Click Build Checks (Design Checker toolbar) or select Create a New Standards File (Welcome to SOLIDWORKS Design Checker splash screen).
  2. On the Document Checks tab, select any font check, such as Note Font , to display the Create Font Check dialog box.
  3. In the Create Font Check dialog box:
    1. Under Font Parameters , select the appropriate values.
    2. Under Copy To, select the appropriate font types.
  4. Click Apply to display a panel for each font type you selected.
    The font types you selected are highlighted on the left pane, and displayed in detail on the right pane.
  5. Click OK to close the Create Font Check dialog box, and continue to create the new standards file.
To duplicate font checks on existing .swstd files, select Open an Existing Standards File (Welcome to SOLIDWORKS Design Checker splash screen), and select any font check not previously included in the file to display the Create Font Check dialog box.

Font Parameters Select the font and the style.
Height

Select Unitsor Points. If you select Units, you can specify parameters for Space.

Space setting is the distance between two lines in a note text.

Units are set in the Check Unit's Settings dialog box. Click Checks > Edit Check Units.

Effects Select values for Strikeout and Underline.
Criticality Set a value. The default is High.
