You can enter descriptions for Toolbox components and select sizes and other properties in the Configure Component PropertyManager. By entering a description, you can easily select preset component configurations.
To open this PropertyManager, do one of the following:
- Drag a Toolbox component from the Design Library into an assembly.
- After opening an assembly, right-click a Toolbox component in the Design Library and click Insert Into Assembly.
- Right-click a Toolbox component in the Design Library and click Create Part.
- Right-click a Toolbox component in the FeatureManager design tree and click Edit Toolbox Component.

Part Numbers
Part Number Unassigned |
Indicates that you can click Add to save configuration and size settings with a part number and description for future reference. |

Launches the Part Number dialog box where you can enter the following information:- Part Number. Specifies a part number for the selected configuration and size settings.
- Description. Specifies a description for the selected component settings. The description is appended to the part number in the Part Numbers list.
Type a description that will help you remember the component settings.

Autosize to mated geometry |
Automatically modifies the diameter sizing of the Toolbox component when inserting it into an assembly. Selecting this option does not modify the component length on insertion.
