There are two ways to notify the SOLIDWORKS product that you switched to an
online license:
- When you log into a SOLIDWORKS product, a message informs you
that the serial number that you have entered is reset for an online license.
Restart the product and log in.
- Your administrator can specify the product to use online
licensing instead of a serial number through the Administrative Image Option
Editor. Each product installed this way prompts you to log in when you run
the software.
