Using Blogs

Blogs let community members add new discussion topics or respond to existing topics.

In addition to text, blog posts can contain:
  • Screen clippings of the graphics area
  • Current active model (native or non-native format)
  • Attached files
  • Image of the desktop

Creating a Blog Post

To create a blog post:

  1. In the 3DSwym Communities, click Blog.
  2. Click Create a Blog Post .

    To create a blog post, you must have the proper role. To change your role, contact your community owner.

  3. Type a title.
  4. Type the content and apply formatting.
  5. Select attachments to include.
  6. Select a category, and then click Publish.

Commenting on a Blog Post

To comment on a blog post:

  1. Select a blog post and click Comment.
  2. Type the content and apply formatting.
  3. Select attachments to include.
  4. Click Comment to post the comment.
