Advanced Tab Options

Detection options

Edge detector Detects line segments in the image.
Contour detector Detects curves in the image.
Scale (Edge detector only) Select the linear scale in a gray scaled image to find line segments.
Sigma scale (Edge detector only) Select the sigma scale for the Gaussian filter. This setting is helpful to avoid blurring.
Method of approximation (Contour detector only) Select how closely the contour is approximated (higher values are closer but take longer to compute.)
Image scale Select the interpolation scale to improve the quality and color intensity of the segments.
Colors quantity Select how many colors to use to divide the image by color areas (enter 0 for no quantization).

Post process options

These settings adjust the darkness or thickness of the edges in output.

Overall tolerance Select the maximum distance in pixels for gaps between line segments, and the maximum length of segments to remove. Removes single segments that do not have adjacent segments. Useful to decrease vectorization noise on low quality images.
Minimum radius arc Select the minimum radius arc in pixels.
Maximum radius arc Select the maximum radius arc in pixels.
Minimum perpendicular length Select the minimum distance between line segments and arcs in pixels.
Minimum number of vertices Select the minimum number of vertices in an arc.
Simplification distance tolerance (Edge detector only) Enter a tolerance value to measure the intended deviation of simplified lines from the original lines.
Alignment angle tolerance (Edge detector only) Select the angle tolerance for detecting vertical and horizontal lines in degrees.

Line options

Show as single lines (Edge detector only) Select the distance between two parallel lines up to which they will be recognized as a single solid line.
Show as double lines(Edge detector only) Select the distance between two parallel lines up to which they will be recognized as double lines.

Smoothness options

Smoothness distance tolerance (Contour detector only) Select the minimal allowed contour part length to smooth in pixels.
