Simulation Study Tree Conventions The Simulation study tree uses the following conventions: An expand symbol to the left of an item’s icon indicates that it contains multiple bodies (for example, assemblies or multi-body part). Click to expand the item and display its contents. A green check mark appears on the Mesh icon when the mesh of the study is current with the active geometry and mesh controls. A green check mark appears on the component's icon when material properties are fully or partially defined for all of the component's parts. The software assigns the following icons to contact conditions: Contact type Icon Global Contact Contact Set Component Contact The software assigns this icon to user-defined mesh controls. When you right-click an item, a right-mouse menu opens. Use this menu to quickly access related operations. The icon may refer to either a result plot or 2D graph (used with transient thermal, drop test, and nonlinear studies). The Parameters icon displays if there is a defined parameter in the study.
