Numbering Balloons Sequentially

To number balloons sequentially, first insert the bill of materials.

  1. In the drawing view, click one of the following:
    • Auto Balloon Tool_auto_balloon_annotations.gif (Annotation toolbar) or Insert > Annotations > Auto Balloon
    • Balloon Balloon (Annotation toolbar) or Insert > Annotations > Balloon
    • Stacked Balloon (Annotation toolbar) or Insert > Annotations > Stacked Balloon
  2. In the PropertyManager, under Item Numbers, select Order sequentially order_sequentially.png Button.
  3. Click PM_OK.gif.
In this example, the balloons are reordered so that the top left balloon starts with 1 and continues sequentially, in a clockwise direction, through 9. The bill of materials updates to match the reordered sequence.
