These tips help ensure that your content appears when users perform a search.
Complete all metadata accurately for your model. Avoid spelling mistakes.
- Display Name
- Use a descriptive name in this field. Display Name is a prominent field in the search results, so use a name that describes both the type of product and specific product. For example, use Double-acting cylinder RD-140, where Double-acting cylinder is the descriptive label and RD-140 is your company's identifier.
- 3DCC Categories
- Use only the most relevant 3D ContentCentral categories to define your model. Using unnecessary categories reduces the quality of search results.
- Tags
- Use these guidelines for tags:
- Add all relevant, industry-specific keywords that are not listed in the 3DCC Categories list.
- Add tags that define property, function behavior, and application of the model.
- Add company-specific names of the model.
- Add material, if it helps differentiate the model from similar models.
- Part Number
- Use your company's part number for the model.
- Description
- Enter details that users will need to know in search results.
