Creating a Catalog

There has to be at least one administrator for each catalog. As the creator of the catalog, you are automatically the administrator.

To create a catalog:

You must enter data for required fields (shown with ).
  1. Click the down arrow next to your name and click Manage Catalogs.
  2. Click Create a New Catalog.
  3. In Add a Catalog, complete the form:
    1. Enter your Company name.
      You cannot change your company name once you create your catalog.
    2. Select your Country.
    3. Select your State/Province.
    4. Enter your Address 1.
    5. Enter your Address 2.
    6. Enter your City.
    7. Enter your Zip or Postal Code.
    8. Enter your Phone.
    9. Enter your Fax.
    10. Drag and drop your company logo to the Company logo area. Otherwise, click Select logo from computer and browse to a logo file.
    11. In Company Website, enter the URL for your Website.
    12. In About your Company, enter a description.
    13. Enter a Download Prefix. The prefix is appended to the name of downloaded files:
      When the model has no configurations, Prefix + MODEL NAME
      When the model has configurations, Prefix + CONFIGURATION NAME
      When the model was built using Configuration Publisher, Prefix + PARTNUMBER
    14. Select Generate Drawing Preview:
      First Angle Projection (European Standards) The front view is displayed at the upper left and the other two views are the top and left views.
      Third Angle Projection (US Standards) The default front view from the part or assembly is displayed at the lower left, and the other two views are the top and right views.
    15. Accept the Supplier Services criteria.
  4. Click Create.
