Switching Between Model and Sheet Tabs

Use the SwitchArea command to switch from Model to Sheet tabs and vice versa. When the Model tab is active, the command switches to the most recently used Sheet tab.

To toggle between Model and Sheet tabs:

  • Type SwitchArea at the command prompt.

    - or -

    Click a tab at the bottom of the graphics area.

When switching from the Model tab to a Sheet tab the first time, the Sheet displays one Viewport showing the model. To see views on the Sheet, use the Viewport command.

When working on a Sheet, the ModelMode command lets you switch from Sheet workspace to Model workspace. To switch back to Sheet workspace, use the SheetMode command.
