Setting the Active Viewport

The ActivateViewport command activates a specified tiled view in Model workspace or a specified Sheet Viewport.

To activate a tiled view or Viewport:

  • In Model workspace, click the tiled view you want to activate.

    - or -

  1. Type ActivateViewport at the command prompt.
  2. Type the number of the tiled view or Viewport to activate.

    In Model mode, 2 specifies the first tiled view, 3 specifies the second tiled view, and so on.

    In Sheet mode, 1 specifies the graphics area on a Sheet, 2 specifies the first Viewport, 3 specifies the second Viewport, and so on.

To cycle through tiled views without clicking:

  • Press Ctrl + R repeatedly.
