Compass

The Compass is the gateway to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. It lets you access roles, apps, and tools in the platform.

Role

A role lets you perform job-specific activities based on the apps that you purchased. You can have multiple roles or create a custom role.

Collaborative Spaces

These are secure spaces where you store and share documents on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

Services and Apps

You can access a variety of services and apps in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform that help you do the following:
  • Access your roles and preferences
  • Receive notifications
  • Add tabs and create new dashboards
  • Access 3DDrive
Service Description
3DDashboard A portal to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, and entry point for collecting project and task information into a view that you manage.
3DDrive Provides storage space online where you can upload documents and use folders to organize them.
3DDrive Sync

Locally synchronizes data from 3DDrive.
3DPlay A viewer that lets you manipulate 3D models. You can also section through a design, measure between items in a design, and annotate a design.
3DSwym

Connects you to communities where you can collaborate, ask and answer questions, and share information in blogs and wikis.

3DSearch Retrieves search results from 3DSwym, 3DSpace, and 3DDrive sources.
3DSpace Stores your data in collaborative spaces and enables their lifecycle management.
