You can specify whether SOLIDWORKS uses automatic computation to solve
the sketch geometry of a part as you create it.
To turn automatic computation on or off:
- Click . A check mark next to the menu item means that computations
are solved automatically.
When Automatic
Solve is off, a message in the status bar says
Auto-Solve Mode Off. When you are in the
process of changing many dimensions in an active sketch, you must turn
off the Automatic Solve option
temporarily.
To control Automatic Solve and Undo:
Click .
- To disable the behavior of automatic turning off of Automatic
Solve Mode and Undo, clear
Turn off Automatic Solve Mode and Undo when sketch contains
more than this number of sketch entities.
- To modify the threshold limit, select Turn off
Automatic Solve Mode and Undo when sketch contains more than this number
of sketch entities and enter the input value in the input
box.
Click OK.
