Creating Transparent Section Views

While creating section views, you can set individual bodies and components as transparent.

The transparency helps you see through to the internals of the model. The transparent section view is available in PhotoView 360.

To create transparent section views:

  1. Open an assembly.
  2. Click Section View (View toolbar) or View > Display > Section View.
  3. In the PropertyManager:
    1. Under Section Method, select Zonal.
    2. Select Transparently Section Components.
  4. In the flyout FeatureManager design tree, select any component.
  5. In the PropertyManager, under Transparently Section Components:
    1. Select Include selected to make the housing transparent.
    2. Set Transparent amount to 0.75.
    3. Click .
    The section view appears with a transparent housing.
