When you save a note that contains symbols and linked values to the Design Library, the software stores those symbols and values within the note. When you insert the note from the Design Library into another drawing, the stored symbols and values display correctly.
The stored symbols and values are not linked to the original note from the original document.
Previously, the software did not store the symbols and linked values in the Design Library note and they displayed an error when inserted into another drawing.
This functionality is supported for notes added to the Design Library in SOLIDWORKS® 2020 or later. Notes added to the Design Library in
earlier releases still show errors.
