Evaluating the Scenarios of your Design The following topics provide the background information for evaluating scenarios of your design. Contents Evaluation Design Study You specify discrete values for each variable and use sensors as constraints. The software runs the study using various combinations of the values and reports the output for each combination. Properties for the Evaluation Design Study If you use the Variable View tab to define the variables, the program defines the scenarios based on all possible combinations of the defined variables. Running the Evaluation Design Study After setting up the design study, you click Run on the Design Study tab. If you use the High Quality option, the program fully calculates the results for all scenarios. If you use the Fast Results option, the program strategically interpolates the results for certain scenarios to reduce the computational requirements. Performing an Evaluation Study Local Trend Graph PropertyManager With the Local Trend Graph PropertyManager, you can gain insight into the relation between an objective or constraint (dependent variables) and specific design variables (independent variables).
