In parts and assemblies, you can specify features to retain that might be
removed by the Defeature tool.
The Defeature tool
automatically removes external holes on parts and components unless you specify to
keep them.
To open the To Keep
page of the Defeature PropertyManager:
- Click Defeature
(Tools toolbar) or .
- For multibody parts and assemblies, select the Simplify Geometry
method in the
PropertyManager. For single-body parts, the
PropertyManager opens to the To Keep
page.
- Click Next
until the To Keep page appears.
