In assemblies and parts, annotations appear in subfolders under
the Annotations
folder in the FeatureManager® design tree.
From
the folder, you can sort the annotations and highlight them in the graphics area.
When you select an annotation in the FeatureManager design tree, it is
highlighted in the graphics area.
Sorting by Annotation View
By default, annotations appear in subfolders that correspond to the
view they belong to, such as
Unassigned,
Front,
Right, and
Top.
Sorting by Annotation Type
You can sort annotations by type, such as
Smart Dimensions,
Weld
Symbols, and
Balloons.
Right-click
Annotations
or a view subfolder and select
Sort by Annotation Type. If you sort the
Annotations
folder, all annotations are
sorted into annotation type subfolders.
If you sort a view subfolder, only
the annotations within that subfolder are sorted. To return to the original order,
right-click the same folder and clear
Sort by Annotation
Type.
