EvaluateAtDistance Method (IPolyLine3D)

Gets the point on the 3D PolyLine that is closest to the specified distance from the start point. Also gets the corresponding U parameter and the first and second derivatives at that point.

Distance
Distance from the start point
PointOnCurveX[out]
x coordinate of the point on the 3D PolyLine that is closest to the specified distance
PointOnCurveY[out]
y coordinate of the point on the 3D PolyLine that is closest to the specified distance
PointOnCurveZ[out]
z coordinate of the point on the 3D PolyLine that is closest to the specified distance
Parameter[out]
Corresponding U parameter at the point
FirstDerivativeDblArray[out]
Array of doubles indicating the first derivative at the point
SecondDerivativeDblArray[out] or Return Value

Array of doubles indicating the second derivative at the point
