3D Viewing Using Vertical RollView

Use the RollViewVertical command to tilt the view of your model vertically about an imaginary horizontal axis.

To view the model in 3D using vertical RollView:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Click View > 3D Orbit > Vertical Orbit on the menu.
    • Click View > Render > Vertical Orbit on the ribbon.
    • Type RollViewVertical.
  2. In the graphics area, drag the pointer.

    A green pivot point  appears in the center of the model. If you selected entities before you entered RollView mode, the pivot point appears at the center of the selected entities.

    Note: The arcball feature is not available in this RollView mode.

  3. Press Esc or Enter to exit RollView mode.


Command: RollViewVertical

Menu: View > 3D Orbit > Vertical Orbit

Ribbon: View > Render > Vertical Orbit
