You can create references between files. When you work on the parent file, its references
are displayed automatically in the preview or in the bill of materials.
Some examples of references are:
- 3D component of a motor with the PDF specification
- Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with a Microsoft Word file
- Digital image of a building with the renovation drawing in SOLIDWORKS
