Extracting Bill of Materials Data

You can extract data from the drawing to fill in the Bill of Material tab in the Table Manager.

To extract bill of materials data:

  1. In the Table Manager, on the Bill of Material tab, click Extract text from PDF in viewer area .
  2. In the graphics area, box-select a BOM, excluding the headers.
    In the Properties/Preferences PropertyManager, the data appears in the Property Table Extraction tab.
  3. In the Properties/Preferences PropertyManager, on the Property Table Extraction tab:
    1. Right-click each column header to map the data to the correct field.
    2. Edit the data if required.
    3. Click .
    The data appears in the Bill of Material tab.
