You can upload non-CAD files in a project file with the
Inspect with
SOLIDWORKS
Inspection
app. You must upload CAD files separately using the appropriate 3DEXPERIENCE
app.
To upload and save a project file to the
3DEXPERIENCE platform:

In MySession, do one of the following:
- Right-click the file and click Save.
- In the action bar, click Save
Active Window.

In the Copy to C:\3DEXPERIENCE\My
Work folder dialog box, click Copy.

Save the project file in the default collaborative
space.
You can specify another collaborative space from the list in MySession.
- Optional:
If MySession detects a CAD file in the project:

Remove the CAD file from the project.

Follow steps

through
3 to upload and save the project file in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform without the CAD file.

In
the appropriate
app,
upload and save a CAD file.

In the appropriate
app,
use
3DSearch in MySession to find
the project file and add it to the CAD file.
If you keep the CAD file in the project, you can
continue
to work and save the project locally on your computer.
