Saving a File with Options in MySession

You can select options to save a file that include adding a bookmark, creating a new revision, or converting part geometry for use with 3DEXPERIENCE modeling and simulation apps.

To save a file with options in MySession:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click the model and click Save.
    • Open the action bar at the bottom of MySession and click Lifecycle > Save.
    The action bar is minimized at the bottom of MySession.

  2. In the Save to 3DEXPERIENCE dialog box, select options, such as:
    • New Revision

      Increments the revision ID to the file.

    • Bookmark

      Lets you add a bookmark to the file using the Bookmark Editor app.

    • Release lock after Save

      Lets another user lock the model after you release the model.



  3. Click Save.

MySession unlocks the model and updates the revision.
