Creating Technical Illustrations

The Technical Illustration workshop lets you publish vectorized images of your scene.

  1. Drag the initial view to the viewport.

  2. In the ribbon, click Workshops > Publishing >Technical Illustration .

  3. In the Technical Illustration workshop, click Preview.

    Composer generates an SVG vector image of your model and displays it in your Web browser. Depending on your browser security settings, you might need to allow blocked content.

  4. Select Color regions and click Preview.

    The vector image now includes color.

  5. Clear Color regions, select Shadows, and click Preview.

    The image has shadows instead of color.

  6. Click Save As and save as a .svg file.
