Defining Function Arguments in Degrees

When you include trigonometric functions such as SIN() or COS() in an expression, by default, the argument units are interpreted in radians.

To specify degrees for argument units in expression functions:

Append D to the function argument.
For example, to include the SIN of 30 degrees in an expression, enter SIN(30D).
To specify units of degrees for calculated expressions, click Unit System > Edit Document Units (Status bar), and for Angle, select Degrees.
