Online licensing gives you the flexibility to use one license across all
your machines. However, the license can be used only on one machine at a time.
You run SOLIDWORKS software on your primary machine and do not log out. When
you try to log into a second machine (for example, a computer at home), the software
offers to take your license from the primary machine.
To start the SOLIDWORKS software on a second machine:

When you log into the second machine, the SOLIDWORKS software
informs you that an online licensed product is in use on a different machine.
Click Yes to continue.
The SOLIDWORKS product runs on the second machine.

When you return to your primary machine, you are prompted to save your work
before the SOLIDWORKS software closes. Click OK to save
the modifications to your model.
