Templates

On the Templates page, you can customize the file locations for templates.

To access this dialog box, click Home (ribbon) and click Options > Templates.

File Locations

In multi-user environments, you can put project and report templates on a server directory that all users can access. If you do not specify a directory, SOLIDWORKS Inspection uses a local directory on each user's machine.

Project templates folder	Specifies the default location for project templates. Click to change the location.
Export template folder	Specifies the default location for report templates. Click to change the location.

Excel Export Templates

	Template Location	Displays the Microsoft^® Excel^® export template location.
	All Sheets	Populates all sheets in the Microsoft Excel report or only the active sheet.
	Browse Template	Opens the template's file location.
	Edit Template	Opens the template in the Template Editor so you can edit the template.
	Add	Adds a template for exporting characteristics to Microsoft Excel.
	Delete	Removes a template for exporting characteristics to Microsoft Excel.

Project Templates

	Template Location	Displays the project template location.
	Browse Template	Opens the template's file location.
	Add	Adds a project template.
	Delete	Removes a project template.
