Upgrading PCB Services

When you are upgrading SOLIDWORKS PCB Services to the 2021 version, the SOLIDWORKS Installation Manager upgrades the Firebird database and automatically migrates your data. Backup the database before you upgrade.

To upgrade SOLIDWORKS PCB Services:

Start the SOLIDWORKS Installation Manager.
On the Welcome page, select Server Products.
Select Upgrade SOLIDWORKS PCB Services on this computer and click Next.

A message appears about upgrading your Firebird software and database.
Click Next.
On the Summary page, accept the default settings or click Change to specify other settings.
Accept the terms of the SOLIDWORKS License Agreement and click Install Now.

Search 'Upgrading PCB Services' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base.
