Using the Cable Wire, Component or Covering Library Wizard

Click Tools > Routing > Routing Tools > Routing Library Manager , and click Cable Wire Library Wizard , Component Library Wizard , or Covering Library Wizard .

You can also open either wizard from the Windows Start menu. Click All Programs > SOLIDWORKS version > SOLIDWORKS Tools > SOLIDWORKS version Routing Library Manager > wizard
Select:
- Create a new library
- Import a library in Excel format
- Open an existing library (XML format)
Click Next.
Follow the steps in the following topics, based on your selection in step 2:
- Creating a New Cable Wire Library, Creating a New Component Library, or Creating a New Covering Library
- Importing a Library in Excel Format
- Opening an Existing Library
