K-Factor Bend Allowances in Swept Flanges

For curved swept flanges, the bend allowances are not calculated if you select K-Factor as the bend allowance. In these cases, the flattened length of the curved body is the same as the swept flange path.

The K-Factor option for bend allowance is not applicable for some cases of swept flange bends where the path sketch does not coincide with any bend faces. In such cases the flattened length of the curved swept bend is the same as the length of the curved sketch segment in the path regardless of the K-Factor.

In the part below, the flattened length of the bends along the curved path segments is calculated using the flattened length of the curved path segment without applying a K-Factor. For options such as bend allowance, bend deduction, and bend table, the flattened length is calculated with the specified value using the included angle and radius of the path segment.
