Copying and Pasting Appearances

You can copy an appearance from one entity and paste it onto another. Pasted appearances retain all the customizations made in the Edit Appearance PropertyManager.

To copy and paste an appearance:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Select the appearance in the DisplayManager or on the model and click Ctrl + Shift + C or PhotoView 360 > Copy Appearance.
    • Select the appearance on the model and click Copy Appearance in the context menu.
    • Right-click the appearance in the DisplayManager and click Copy Appearance in the context menu.
  2. Click the face, feature, body, or part you want to add the appearance to and do one of the following:
    • Click PhotoView 360 > Paste Appearance.
    • In the context menu, click Paste Appearance .
    • Press Ctrl + Shift + V.
    The Appearance Target palette appears:

  3. On the Appearance Target palette, click Face , Feature , Body , Part , or Appearance Filter to paste the appearance at the selected level. As you hover over the palette options, a preview appears in the graphics area.

    You can copy and paste multiple appearances by pinning the Appearance Target palette. Face is the default selection in the pinned palette.

    If you pin the Appearance Target, press Ctrl and select the level in the palette. Continue to press Ctrl while you select the item in the graphics area and then paste the appearance.
